The stunning home on Town Lane in Amagansett, nestled comfortably in the Long Island billionaire's enclave, is now one of the most expensive listings in the area.

The property, located 100 miles from the actor's family penthouse in Greenwich Village, is being billed as the perfect 'marriage of nature and luxury.'

However, Baldwin, whose net worth is estimated at $60 million, and his family won't have to sleep on anyone's couch.

He owns several other properties including the sprawling penthouse at Devonshire House in Greenwich Village, which he purchased for $11.7million in 2011.

In February of this year, he purchased a historic 50-acre farm in Vermont for $1.7million - the same day he was hit with a wrongful death suit by the Hutchins family.

The purchase by Baldwin, 64, in the small mountain town of Arlington where his wife Hilaria's grandfather lived, came after the actor spent months in the area following the tragedy in New Mexico.

The home occupies 10 acres of land. Outside, there is a 625-square-foot pavilion with outdoor firepit and a 20’ x 50’ pool and spa, as well as a vegetable garden

The former SNL actor and Oscar-nominated actor reportedly purchased the property in 1996 for $1.75 million, is offloading the property at a challenging time.

The Amagansett property has essentially served as a refuge from New York City as hard times have swirled around the celebrity couple.

In February, Baldwin bought an historic 50-acre farm in Vermont for $1.7million in the small mountain town of Arlington.

According to broker Faith Rhodes, who handled the sale, the farmhouse is nearly 250 years old, and was built in the 1780s.

She added, 'There are 50-something acres, and it's just gorgeous … just gorgeous.

'That part of Arlington is very old and historic. It dates back to the Green Mountain Boys,' she said, referring to a Revolutionary War-era militia that once protected the area from settlers from other states and later British troops during the latter half of the 18th Century.

'It's a really beautiful part of the village.'

According to Rhodes' listing for the home, the property sold February 15 for $1.75 million.

Previous real estate records show that the modest home - which features 'a 3,600 [square foot] main house, and a nicely renovated 1800 [square-foot] guest cottage with 2 baths,' according to Rhodes - sold for just $559,000 in 2014, suggesting the actor paid a markup of more than 200 percent.

It is unclear what renovations, if any, have been done on the property.

Baldwin's family has deep ties to the area, with his wife Hilaria's grandfather, David Lloyd Thomas Sr., having having resided there for most of his life until his death in March 2020, at 92.

Thomas had traveled to the town - which boasts a population of just over 2,000 - to research his genealogical roots, and found that his family's connection to the area predated the American Revolution, his obituary revealed.

The home, which features a cottage as well as a barn, sits on 50 acres of rural farmland

Asked if she thinks the Baldwins are likely to spend time at the the new property, Rhodes said, 'I'm not sure … It's certainly not their primary residence,' referring to the actor's palatial 4,137-square-foot apartment in New York City - which they have quietly been trying to sell for well over a year.

Rhodes added to The Banner: 'But they love the community as well. They got to know it and loved it.'

In a previous ad, the property was described as a 'classic Vermont 18th century farm [that] features 55 beautiful acres, a 3,600 [square foot] main house, and a nicely renovated 1800 [square-foot] guest cottage with 2 baths.'

The home also features 'numerous outbuildings, updated horse stalls, several pastures, expansive landscaped lawn areas, pleasant views and a pond with a picturesque waterfall spillway' and 'substantial renovations that have taken place in recent years.'

Last month, Baldwin was  sued by the family of a Marine killed at Kabul Airport in Afghanistan last year after publicly shaming his sister for attending the Capitol riot.

The family of Rylee McCollum, the fallen soldier, filed a lawsuit against the star in which Roice McCollum - Rylee's 23-year-old sister - shared some of the online abuse she received after Baldwin put her on blast.

He had donated $5,000 to the family's GoFundMe account months before learning she had attended the Capitol riot on January 6, 2021, some eight months before her brother died.

In the comments section of a photo on Roice's Instagram, Baldwin wrote: 'Are you the same woman that I sent the $ to for your sister's husband who was killed during the Afghanistan exit?'

Publicly, Baldwin said it was 'ironic' that she was a rioter when her brother had died fighting for the country.

Within 20 minutes of Baldwin's post, Roice began to 'get hostile, aggressive, hateful messages from his followers', the lawsuit reads.

Just days ago, a Los Angeles Superior Court judge ruled he was primarily responsible for firing a loaded gun in the fatal shooting of cinematographer Halyna Hutchins during the filming of Rust in New Mexico last October, as part of ongoing legal proceedings in the matter.

The FBI released a report concluding that he pulled the trigger on a gun firing off bullets that killed Hutchins, 42, and injured director Joel Souza.

Baldwin has not spoken publicly since the revelation, after repeatedly denying that he pulled the trigger on the gun, which was supposed to be loaded with dummy bullets.

The FBI's forensic report released examined every aspect of the fatal accident as part of a broader investigation to see if any criminal charges could be brought.

Police in Santa Fe, New Mexico say they are considering filing criminal charges against him.

Baldwin previously claimed that he had pulled back the hammer and posed with it for the camera while Halyna coached him on the positioning.

In interviews with investigators Baldwin said he was told that he was holding a 'cold gun,' meaning that it was loaded with dummy rounds.

The actor said that he released it, and it fired without him pulling the trigger, with Baldwin adding ‚ÄėI did not pull the trigger.‚Äô

Weeks after the shooting, Baldwin and Hilaria, 38, were seen in the Hamptons enjoying a picnic with their children and nannies in a park, chasing soccer balls and munching on potato chips in the great outdoors.

Last January, Hilaria headed out with her husband for a woodland walk, sporting head to toe black in a potential hope to stay incognito in the wake of the storm that erupted about her 'fake' Spanish heritage claims.

The yoga expert is expecting her seventh child with the Glengarry Glenn Ross actor. Alec is also father to model Ireland Baldwin, 26, with ex-wife Kim Basinger, 68.
